타워41은 Chapultepec공원과 마주한 멕시코 시티의 전략적 포인트에 자리한다. 장엄한 크기의 도시정원과 함께 한다. 입지적 특징을 연장, 석양시 거대한 빛의 조각품? (어반 라이트하우스)으로 발광함으로써 독특한 분위기를 자아낸다. 인테리어 스페이스 또한 볼륨을 구체화하는 구조체의 결과물로 (내부 공간의 구조적인 색체가 적나라하게 드러나는) 두개의 콘크리트 구조월로 지지되는 스틸 메자닛층으로 구성된다. 여기에 건물입면을 가로지르는 세컨더리 스트럭쳐 ( )로 강화, 보강된다. 그리하여 완성된 내부는 구조적으로 자유로워진 무주공간을 연출하며, 플렉서블한 오피스환경을 제공한다.
빌딩의 구성은 오피스를 위한 7개층과 3개층 높이의 로비층 그리고 서측과 최상층에 자리한 루프가든을 수직으로 연결하는 동선, 그리고 인접한 건물과의 친밀성, 관계성을 유지시키는 다양한 오프닝 구간(소규모 외부 공용공간)들로 이루어 진다. 그리고 액티브디자인(냉난방을 위한 별도의 장치 및 설비류를 제외)은 의도적으로 배제한다. 이는 건축가가 지향하는 건축환경; 패시브 건축의 완성을 위함으로 (거대한 자연으로 둘러쌓인 생태환경의 적용) 건물 양측면의 맞통풍을 이용한 자연환기를 적극적으로 활용한다. 장소에 드러나는 고유한 물질성은 별도의 외부 장식물을 필요로 하지 않는 훌륭한 디테일의 레벨로 노출, 건축을 더욱더 건강하게 한다.

Located in a strategic point of Mexico City, facing the majestic Chapultepec Park, Tower 41 designed by Alberto Kalach’s office TAX is displayed to the immediate context as a light sculpture at nightfall.
The interior spaces were designed as a consequence of the structure of the volume, two structural concrete walls supporting steel mezzanines, reinforced by a secondary steel structure on the facade.
Thus, the structural configuration generates free plans, allowing flexible spaces for any office use.
Functionally, the building has 7 floors for offices, a triple-height lobby, vertical circulation to the west and a roof garden on the top floor, which opens the dialogue and relates to the outside.
The office building was designed with the intention of not integrating heating and air conditioning systems. The strategy is bio-climatic, with cross ventilation from operable windows on both sides.
The apparent materiality of the place is exposed to an excellent level of detail and without extra ornaments, achieving a warm atmosphere inside.
To mitigate the hostility of noise caused by traffic, TAX designed a garden, water fountains and an acoustic wall on the ground floor that absorb and counteract the noise pollution.
