자연은 건축을 형성시키는 첫번째 조건으로 이를 겸허히 수용한 건축은 비로서 장소에 뿌리를 내리며 시간과 일체화된다. 도시를 마주한 메인도로를 경계로 녹지지대, 그리고 대지 안에 심어진 6그루의 나무는 여기 비즈니스센터를 디자인하는 주요한 모티브로 작용, 건축을
시작하게 한다. 이러한 조건은 건축물을 다음과 같은 두가지 원칙 위에 위치시킨다. 첫번째, 녹지지대의 풍부한 자연환경의 최소한의 훼손을 위해 메인
건축물을 지면으로 부터 부양시킨다. 두번째, 대지 내에 식재된 6그루의 나무와 친밀한 상호교감을 연속적으로 불러 일으키는 건축, 공간을
구성한다.
그리하여 완성된 비즈니스 센터는 필로티 구조로 부양된 4개의
독립적인 볼륨으로 구성된다. 각각 독립적인 4개의 볼륨의 외피에 위치, 각 볼륨을 구축하는 트러스 스트럭쳐는 오래된 나무의 Y 또는 L의 형태로 부터 유추된 형태적 이미지를 건축적 어휘로 재현, 자연속에
또다른 재해석된 자연을 형성하게 된다.
여기에 각 볼륨의 외피를 마감하는 스틸판넬은 수직으로 트위스트된
알루미늄 스트립으로 패턴 디자인되어 -앞서 말하는 트러스 스트럭쳐가 나무의 가지라면, 외피는 잎사귀를 닮아 있다.- 주변 자연환경, 6그루의 나무를 투영, 흡수하는 매개체로 비즈니스 센터의 내부공간을
자연과 연계시킨다. 또한 내부공간을 외부시선으로 부터 적절히 차단하는 동시에 채광과 환기를 유지한다.그렇게 건축은 자연과 공생하는 방법을 배우고 그를 통해 자신의 위치를 재확인한다.

Huaxin office complex locates to the west of Guilin road, with a green land at the south of its entry.
This green land owns 6 old camphor trees and opens to the urban main road. These two facts become the starting point of the design, and hence to lead to two basic strategies of the business center: one is to elevate the main body of building up to second floor in order to maximize the open green space on the ground; second is to establish an intimate and interactive relationship with 6 trees while protecting them in the site.

The building is composed by four independently suspended structures linked by bridges. 10 pieces of combined steel and concrete walls support the upper structures, all covered by reflective stainless steel panels, which contain all the vertical ducts and reflect the surrounding green environment. These walls are thus cleared up and help the suspension effect of the upper volumes. A ground floor atrium, made of transparent glasses, is enclosed in-between three structures. It introduces sceneries and natural light by all-around transparency and skylight, and creates the spatial interaction between inside and outside.
Approaching second floor through the stair in the atrium, a new spatial order will be unfolded along the path. Four suspended volumes realized with steel trusses stretch themselves horizontally with “Y” or “L” shapes among the old trees. The twisted and tensioned aluminum strips assembled the translucent walls of these volumes, which present the truss structure in an indistinct way and become containers and boundaries of a series of interior and exterior spaces. When wandering across these translucent walls, the visitor will alternatively encounter rooms, courtyards, bridges and different sceneries guided by them. The branches and leafs of the trees traverse the building freely and become touchable friends.
The structure, its adherent material, and the branches and leafs of trees interweave together to give a special atmosphere to each space. It is under the organization of time (or path) that these spaces (room and courtyard) realize an environmental experience where time and space interact: a collaboration between architecture and nature.
