건축은 한계성의 극복으로 부터 시작되며 이러한 과정을 통하여 발현되는
건축공간은 또다른 형태의 방법론 구축하며 건축을 이야기하는 디자인코드가 됩니다.
회사직원들을 위한 식당과 다용도 공간을 해결하기 위한 프로젝트의 시작은
협소한 대지를 벗어나 도로를 마주보고 있는 대지위에 건축물을 세우면서 시작됩니다.
하지만 400여명 되는 직원들이 안전하게 이 건축물을 이용하기 위한 대책이 필요로 하는데
이러한 문제를 해결하기 위한 묘한은 30미터 너비의 도로를 상부에서 가로 질러
연결하는 스틸볼륨 브릿지로 해결합니다.
그리고 이렇게 연결된 스틸 볼륨은 또다시 식당 상부를 구성하는 반복적인 3개의 볼륨 중 하나로
연속되며 식당 상부를 구축하는 스트럭쳐 시스템으로 변환됩니다.
또한 상부에 설치된 스틸볼륨은 반복적인 스카이라인을 구성함으로써 자연채광과 자연환기를
유도하는 디자인 컨텐츠로 활용하는 동시에 내부 공간을 무주공간으로 구축하여
다양한 활동을 보장하는 유연한 공간으로 기능적인 요구를 충족시킵니다.
요구를 해결하기 위해 시작된 건축 방법은 결국 전체 건축물의 기능과 구조를
하나로 묶는 디자인 코드로 정의됩니다.

Due to the availability of terrain, the project was placed on a
property located across the street from the work areas of the company.
As a matter of safety and operability, it wasn´t possible that 400
workers leave the company to public space, to later enter the dining
area. This raised the need of a gateway, which allows employees to cross
from one terrain to another without control.

Starting with the forced need of a gateway, whose metal structure is capable of saving 30 meters over the street, we decided to integrate it to the project and solve the structure with the repetition of three volumes of equal proportions. The gateway, and its repetition as skylights, creates a column-free interior space that can be multipurpose.
These volumes in addition to solve the structure of the building, resolved the natural light and ventilation required by the 30×30 meters area. Thus, through repetition and the gap between these volumes, establish a system of relations, which transforms the gateway in an element of the whole work.
