[ JAJA ] Office and shop complex proposal

The Danish architects jaja has just revealed their new proposal for an office and shop complex in Sandnes - Norway. They have worked with Rambøll Aros on the project, which is 13,000 m2.

The building is named after an ancient Viking Ship, which was called worm Lange. The ship was Norwegian, and it feels appealing to draw historical references to a piece of contemporary architecture.

The project has a strong visual identity, and there is a good movement through the building. Just as on a Viking Ship the façade rises up at the end of the building, and provides a majestic expression.
