This home, located in the quiet area of Mansonville, Québec, appears to almost blend in to its snowy surroundings in the winter.

The home, designed by MU Architecture, is covered in white painted wood siding, which is broken up by the light wood on the roof soffits.

The light wood continues through to the interior ceiling, and is a strong contrast to the dramatic black and dark wood kitchen.

Small black hexagon tiles used in the backsplash, contrast the deep rich wood countertop and shelves.

Just off the kitchen is the dining area and a sunken living room.

The dining area provides a separation between the sunken living room and the kitchen, and just off to the side, is a sliding door providing access to the outside.

Located down just a few steps from the dining area is a sunken living room, with floor-to-ceiling windows that perfectly frame the view.

In the corner, a small cylindrical fireplace has been added, and a low profile coffee table makes sure the view remains unobstructed.
