아일랜드의 오래된 마구간 하우스를 리노베이션 하기로 하면서 내부를 완전히 재설계하기로 했다. 그 이유는 외부 비율을 수정할 수 없었기 때문이다. 기존의 레이아웃으로는 위층 침실과 부엌, 거실, 아래층의 식당 공간이 가능했는데, 주거공간으로써 햇빛을 최대한 들이기 위해 이 구조를 뒤집었다. 심플한 팔레트와 벽돌, 콘크리트, 칠레산 소나무 합판, 석고 보드를 이용하여 미묘한 레벨 변경을 시도한 후 추가 벽을 세우지 않고 건물 내 각기 다른 구역확인을 정의했다. 예산의 제약으로 인해 재료를 노출하여 표현했고, 이 집의 설계시 보트에서 많은 영감을 갖고 작업했다.
