우드를 밴딩해서 심플하게 만드는 일이
쉽지 않은데 참으로 조화롭게 만들었어요.

paris-based designer patrick norguent in collaboration with french furniture manufacturer alki,
has designed 'makil', a stackable oak chair that showcases material, technique and structure.
the chair will be exhibited for the first time at maison et objet 2011.

using the finest bending techniques and craftsmanship, the chair is composed of a series
of winding and intersecting forms. the combined use of solid oak and oak plywood
adds an additional layer of interest to the object.
