*오리가미 다면체 체어 [ anOtherArchitect ] Hedronic Chairs

오리가미 폴딩으로 만드는 체어디자인.
종이공작을 하듯 폴딩되어 있는 스테인레스 스틸
체어는 단순하지만 재미있는 형태로
우리에게 흥미꺼리를 안겨준다.
오리가미가 가지는 안정적인 삼각형
프레임은 이 다면체를 안정적인 구조체로 디자인하여
싱글레이어로 폴딩하여 안정적으로
사용할 수 있는 디자인의 경계를 열고 있다.

르꼬르뷔지에가 외피와 구조를 분리하여
평면에 얽매이지 않는 입면의 자유를 주어
지금의 건축을 만들었다.
일장일단이 있다. 외피의 다양성은 그만큼 디자인에 대한
발전의 시대를 열었지만 또 그만큼의
오너먼트를 만들었다.
르꼬르뷔지에와 미스반데로우가 원했던것은
오너먼트가 아니고 이유있는 외피였던 것이다.

지금 보고 있는 체어가 당신에게는
아무나 만들 수 있는 의자 일 수 있지만
나에게는 새로운 세계의 초대로 보인다.

The design of the chair is based on a simple mathematical solid shape called a polyhedron which also inspired the name HEDRONIC. The entire chair is produced from a single piece of folded stainless steel. The white colour, together with the origami-like folding creates the impression of a light paper chair. In order to reduce the weight of the chair and also make it appear more transparent, a pattern of different holes was applied. Three new patterns based on parametric design principles were developed for the ArchMoscow exhibition. The chair is manufactured in Russia by Nayada.
