'lyon confluence housing' located in lyon, france. bordered by two rivers, this residential block has unobstructed
views of the vegetated hill of adjacent sainte-foy. the industrial form is comprised of shifted and rotated volumes
responding to the areas past presence of stacked shipping containers.
the exterior is clad with varied materials providing a diverse appearance the facade's reflection within the water
ripples adding additional movement to the already dynamic environment. penetrations are staggered to prevent
direct views into neighboring apartments. recessed voids provide terraces
which overlook the nearby park and
water front.
