Designer Ron Arad phoned Dezeen today to ask us to publish a movie of the bike he designed with sprung steel loops instead of spokes and tyres, to prove it works.
Arad designed the bike for a fundraising project called WOW bikes, organised by the Elton John AIDS Foundation and W Hotels, where six designers were asked to alter bikes from London’s bicycle hire scheme.
The bikes are being auctioned on the W Hotels Facebook page until 31 October.
