*펀칭메탈 파사드 디자인 [ antonini darmon architects ] cultural + community tower, paris diderot university

파사드를 표현하는 방법에는 여러가지가 있다.
내부 프로그램을 공간화 하는 볼륨을 그대로 외부에 반영하여
각 볼륨들의 균형감을 구현하는 일련의 방법과
내부의 프로그램과는 별개로 입면을 대지가 갖고 있는 성격에
맞게 디자인 하거나 랜드마크를 위하여 별개의 모티브로 디자인을 하는 등 다양한
구현 방법을 통하여 디자인 한다. 여기 프랑스 건축가 안토니니는 파사드에 대한
우리의 생각을 한번 뒤집으며 안으로 감춤으로 색다른 파사드(속살 보여주기)에 대한 생각의 계기를 마련한다.
우리네 한옥의 창호지에 비쳐진 내부의 불빛은 사람들의 동작을
비쳐 외부로 투영함으로써 외부로 내부의 활동과 공간을 은연중 발산한다.
(은은한 그림자를 통한 내부의 움직임은 묘한 감정선을 건든다.)
이와 유사한 그들의 디자인 방법은 외피를 감싸고 있는 두개의 켜를 통하여
균질한 표피가 내부의 프로그램에 반응하며 변화하는 다양성을 이야기한다.
사무실, 데크, 계단실 등 다양한 내부 공간의 크기는 외피를 감싸고 있는
펀칭메탈로 균질한 물질로 투영되어 그 막위에 새로운 입면의 그림을 그린다.
무채색의 캔버스위에 그려지는 내부의 다양성은 캔버스를 채우듯
입면 디자인을 정의하는 아이텐티가 된다.
우리가 보아오던 방식과는 사뭇 다른 방식의 접근이 신선하면서도
묘한 감정선을 건드린다.

french practice antonini darmon architects have recently completed the 'cultural + community tower' for the paris diderot university in france. positioned within the undeveloped southwest area of the complex and a space has been maintained around the perimeter of the slender tower to respect the adjacent existing and recently converted flour market. lifted on pilotis, the slender building profile is accentuated by the shadowed chasm withinbordering voids.

the exterior has been treated simply to allow the strong facade of its neighbor to take attention. a delicate metal screen
encompasses the exterior creating a soft filtered illumination at night. the top of the facade extends beyond the highest floors, reducing to a supporting framework to dissolve into the sky.
