필란드 헬싱키 인근 주변 개발지역에 위치한 학교는 500여명의 학생들과 100여명의
아이들을 보육하는 공간으로 구성되었습니다.
마치 파도를 연상시키는 루프라인은 저층부 2개층과 구분되는
볼륨으로 서측 사이드에 위치한 운동장에서 쐐기형상으로 시작하여
동측에 펼쳐진 지형면을 따라 마무리 됩니다.

A school near Helsinki, Finland, caters to a quickly-growing suburban development.
The structure can currently accompdate 500 students and a daycare for 100 children, though a second phase of construction will make space for nearly 1000 kids.
The building is split between two storeys and three, with an
undulating wave-like roof that extends upwards to reflect the extra
level.
'The wedge-shaped building forms great spaces for the
playgrounds on its west side, while the east side follows the border of
the site,' explains architect Timo Koljonen of Linja Architects.
Located in Vantaa, about 20 km outside of Helsinki, the school sits
in a significant new development area for living and working. Vantaa
will offer housing for roughly 30,000 people.
