*인체공학적 암체어 [ splinterworks ] bodice rocker

인체공학적인 유선형은 암체어를 디자인하는 첫번째 원칙이며,
부드러운 촉감으로 안락함을 선사하는 재질은 두번째 원칙이다.
여기에 저중심 설계로 자유자재의 스탠딩이 가능한 암체어의 특징은
세번째로 사용자를 만족시키는 기준이 될 것이다.

when positioned vertically, the 'bodice rocker' by london-based design studio splinterworks takes on an anthropomorphic sculptural form. some viewers may perceive a bust, or derrière, but among the suggestive curvaceous forms, others might see an arched foot. with a light touch, it gently rocks back and pauses in mid-air, as if weightless, inciting a double-take by seeming to defy the pull of gravity. in this position, it reveals the more familiar profile of a chaise lounge -- with a second nudge, it draws to the ground, where you can sit and stretch out comfortably on soft padded leather. the rocker can be modified for a more ergonomic fit to accommodate a taller or smaller person, and scaled appropriately to suit different room size.
