컬러풀, 현대적, 그리고 유행을 반영한 디자인. 디자인 스튜디오를 이야기하는 3가지.
After undertaking a redesign of their identity and branding, the designers from the multi-disciplinary creative consultancy Masquespacio have recently completed the design of their new studio space in Valencia, Spain. Showcasing their particular colourful, contemporary and trend-focused decorative style, the design of their own new studio interior is a bold playground of rich colour-blocked planes, decorative marble details and gold trims that continues the concept behind the studio’s new branding and identity. Each and every wall and surface of the 120m2 space has been carefully considered and curated presenting an individual composition —a vignette of style, colour and detail, as the designers art-directed each angle and view of the space.
Upon entering the studio, clients and guests are welcomed within a colourful, multi-functional space that serves as a waiting area, showcasing Masquespacio’s recently designed Toadstool collection of vividly coloured upholstered sofas, chairs, stools and side tables, as well as an informal meeting area and library displaying magazines and books on the gold shelving that line the walls. A doorway then leads into a formal meeting room which is flanked on one side by a wall of vivid colour-blocked joinery detailed in polished brass and marble, whilst on the other side a plane of salmon pink separates the adjacent work zone of the two senior designers; their individual cubicles function almost as private offices with shared storage and display to the rear wall, saturated in a beautiful rich green. Meanwhile, an additional workspace on the upper level accommodates the design team on shared open worktables and continues the new branding identity palette of colours and finishes, complimented and enriched with beautiful lush green planting throughout.
