Kitchen cabinets without hardware is a growing trend. The kitchen seen here, designed by Fraher Architects for a home in London, is an example of that trend.
Working together with their in-house joinery team, the designers included a recessed finger detail made from European oak, to make it easy to open the drawers and cabinets.
Here you can see how the recessed finger detail works when opening a cabinet. Due to the angle on the top of the cabinet, it’s easy to open with the minimum amount of effort.
