Huaxin Wisdon Hub is a place for promoting communication and sharing wisdom, with the programs of multifunction rooms, conference rooms and various exhibition rooms.
The building is located in a cramped site within the Huaxin Science and Tech Park, surrounded by pedestrian walkways, parking lots and official buildings of various use in the park.

As there are no positive factors in the circumstances for the architects to rely on, the strategy then turns to the creation of an introspective world. A ring-shaped suspending concrete wall set the boundary for the wisdom hub. Overall, the project is divided into four separated parts which are arranged like a windmill within the wall. The interior space and the exterior one become blurred because of the suspension of the walls.
The exterior space between the four separated parts is connected with the park through the paths, and together they become the atriums of the whole building. When walking through the building, people will enjoy the alternating scenes between the interior and the exterior.
Inside the functional spaces, the fair-faced concrete walls are covered with the texture of the wood grain; in the contrast, the exterior walls along the circulation paths are distinguished by different color with white paints. This different processing ways are also aiming to strengthen the alternation between the scenes. In order to control the total height, the building and parts of the site are 1.5m lower than the ground level. With the help of the gentle slope, they still keep continuous with the surroundings.
The building complex is designed to be a space with uncertainty in response to the installed programs from a utilitarian perspective, as well as the challenges from the existing conditions. At the same time, the design is expected to bring new experience to the site and enrich the environment.
