The use of innovative manufacturing techniques, matching precious natural materials with highly technological yarns, produces exceptional quality and unthinkable performance for classic furnishing fabrics. Our most resounding results are our extra wide fabrics (330cm): silk shantung and matelasses, polyester, silk and cotton taffetas.

Founded by Nicola and Elda Fabrizio 22 years ago, this family business with its unique and distinctive style continues to go from strength to strength. The company's long-term confidence and investment in the process of research and development has brought growing international acclaim.

DEDAR fabrics have been used in the interior decoration of cruisers, embassies, institutional building, and Hotels such as Hotel de Russie et Westin Excelsior in Rome, Bayerischer Hof in Munchen, Costes-France Choiseul in Paris, Hotel Carlton in Cannes, Ritz Carlton in Palm Beach and Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, Merril Lynch European Headquarters in the City of London.

The collection is predominantly made up of plains, in fabric weaves specially designed to ensure that our products are functional and beautiful to look at. Starting from the yarn, the design team of Dedar works in close collaboration with manufacturers to ensure that, year after year, the fabrics are technically perfect and look marvellous when made up.

The process, together with a bold and experimental approach to new techniques, has allowed Dedar to exceed the limits of traditional furnishing fabrics, managing to develop what they call 'functional luxury' (taffeta, silk, cotton, linen and matelasse) that have met with unparalleled success.

This concept of functional luxury reappears in Dedar's technical products, which, made from highly performing technological materials, may confer a contemporary elegance to interior d飯r. Alongside these, Dedar finds a selection of patterns, usually of large dimensions, that are either strongly contemporary?- as in the case of numerous bold stripes?- or may be inspired by an evocative past but, once revisited, have no difficulty in becoming eligible for modern taste. Their patterns are always endowed with strong personality.

It is the meld of plains and a few select patterns, together with vibrant colours and sumptuous materials, that fully expresses the essence of the interior design, as interpreted by Dedar.
