넓은 정원과 필로티로 띄워진 단층 개인주택이다.
필로티 상부의 주거는 리니어한 형태로 구성된 두개의 공간-거실, 주방, 식당 으로 이루어진
공용공간과 메인침실과 아이들 침실로 이루어진 개별공간으로 구분된다.-
으로 구분되며 내부에 외부로 연결되는
반중정공간을 생성한다.
리니어한 주거를 가로 지르는 반중정공간은 공간의 방향성을 따라
그라운드 레벨에 위치한 정원과 측면에 설치된 그린계단으로 연결된다.
집은 아이들이 처음 접하는 생활공간이다. 어쩌면 건축을 알게되는
처음 공간이기도 하다. 장차 성인이 될 아이들이 마음껏 뛰어놀며
공간에 대한 즐거움과 행복감을 심어 줄 수 있다면
모든 부모들은 무엇이든 할 것이다.
건축이 만들어 내는 공간은 이미 너무나도 깊숙히 우리 속에 담겨 있기때문에
우리가 인지 하지 못할 뿐이다.

situated next to the clients' parents residence, the design focuses on establishing a level of communication as well as an open communal space for the family members. the sheltered area generated under the bodyof the house serves as a large multi-functional area for outdoor activities. read as a pair of linear volumes,the stilted dwelling features hide-away windows which establish a high level of privacy for the domestic space within.
separated by a spinal alley way which remains open to the element, the design defines the public programs (living, dining, kitchen) from the sleeping quarters. the strip of play area is finished with a subtly rolling topography and natural grass as a mini golf course for the children. flanked by floor-to-ceiling glazing, this spatial chasm provides great amount of natural daylight as well as visual communication between the volumes.
