상파울루, 캄피나스, 70만제곱미터 대지위에 건립된 산타더 뱅크 데이타센터를 구축하는 대원칙은 각 건축물 간의 시큐리티 확보와 그 속에 구축된 공간의 쾌적한 환경조성에 있다. 운영 및 시큐리티 차원에서 구분, 독립된 3개의 건축물은 대지를 분할하는 장축의 대형 콘크리트 월과 랜드스케이프 속에서 전략적으로 배치된다. 각 건축물은 지하2층 지상1층 규모 구성되며, 그중 'NOC'로 불리우는 중앙 컨트롤 센터는 각 공간을 연결, 운영하는 전략적 요충지에 입지한다.
그외 각각의 두개 건축물은 대형 수직 콘크리트 월과 이와 평행하게 구축된 스톤월 사이에 조성된 내부 정원을 경계로 독립성을 유지하도록 배치된다. 첫번째 건축물에는 리셉션, 워크룸, 서비스 스페이스가 배치되며, 두번째 복합 메가 블럭에는 오퍼레이션 센터와 서포트, 물류 공간이 배치된다.
내부근무환경의 쾌적성 확보와 시큐리티 확보를 위해 조성된 랜드스케이프는 공간을 버퍼하는 해자역활 및 심미적 안정감을 주는 대형 폰드(폭 12미터에 길이 80미터)와 작렬하는 태양으로 부터 내부를 필터링하는 쉐이딩 시스템이 가미된 내부 정원으로 배치된다. 각 공간의 관계성을 적절하게 유지하는 버퍼 스페이스이자 광할한 대지 위에 새롭게 조성된 자연 공간으로 각 랜드스케이프는 마스터플랜을 완성한다.

The Datacenter of Santander Bank is located in the Municipality of
Campinas, State of São Paulo, next to UNICAMP, campus of the University
of Campinas.
The plot of land, covering an area of 700,000 square meters, includes
three independent and autonomous “Data Processing Centers” approximately
500 meters distant from one another for security reasons and
operational strategy.

Each of these units has an area of approximately 25,000 square meters,
spread over three floors, two of which are partly underground. Each of
the buildings stands out in the landscape as a result of the excavation
project, which opted for reusing the land removed during the
construction, and placing it back once the structures had been
completed.
The Operational Control Center or “NOC” as it is called, is located in a
strategic position for the operation of the DATACENTER, allowing
operational access to all its parts.
Composed of two interdependent spaces, the first one housing the
reception, workrooms and services, is a longitudinal construction
located between a large vertical structure made of concrete and a long
stone wall, forming an internal garden accessible via the work areas,
counting with protected access security systems.
The second is the great block that houses the Operations Center and the
support and logistic rooms of the complex. This second space is
connected to an internal garden covered by a cellular system of concrete
elements allowing the daylight to come through while filtering the
intensity of the rays of sun. A large water body, measuring about 12
meters in width and 80 meters in length, completes the complex of the
“NOC“ / Operational Control Center.
The landscaping recovers the vegetation mass and the system of access roads adapts to the logistics needs of the complex.
A number of strategic support facilities, such as the logistics building, entrance gates, bus station, substations, and different parking areas complete the complex of the DATACENTER of Santander Bank in Campinas.
