French designer Benoit Challand gives new life to the open office system
by converting desks into typography inspired cubicles. Every desk in
his office is shaped as a different letter of the alphabet, transforming
the archetypal workspaces into large scale alphabetical sculptures.
Challand
aims to change the monotonous image of the office by making the space
more fun and surprizing. The shapes remain abstract until viewed from
above. When you discover this trick, you can make the furniture spell
out words or phrases by arranging it in a certain way. By adding this
modular element to the office, the multi-faceted designer enables us to
combine both work and play.
