판매용 가구를 위한 스튜디오와 전시공간이 결합된 다용도 공간을 설계하기 위한 이번 프로젝트는 36년 된 복고풍 주택을 리노베이션하는 일이다. 건물 1층이 약 11평밖에 되지 않아 좁은 정면에 채광이 충분치 않기 때문에 건물 자체의 아름다운 외관이 빛을 잃었다. 따라서 내부 계단과 거리에 접한 철제 창문, 그리고 1층 후면에 위차한 추가 판금판을 제거하였고, 외부 계단과 안뜰을 추가해 공간을 확보했다. 평면도에 건물 내 3개의 방이 모두 벽으로 분리되고 계단으로 박힌 구조였고, 전체적으로 일관성이 없었다. 스튜디오와 전시공간을 구성해야 했기에 먼저 단단한 벽을 제거하고, 옥외로 계단의 위치를 변경하여 안뜰로 빛이 들어올 수 있도록 구성하였다.
