건축은 자연의 일부분이다. 야츠가타케 산의 풍부한 자연환경은 캔틸레버 하우스를 디자인하는 주요한 인자로 사용되며 경사지를 이용한 극적인 건축환경을 구현한다. 막힘없는 파노라마 뷰포인트 확보를 위해 수평으로 강조된 건축은 바닥에서 천장까지 열린 전면창과 매우 얇은 스틸 기둥, 나즈막한 박공지붕 -수평성이 강조된 건축은 최소한의 수직부재를 생성하며 이또한 시야로 부터 배재 시킨다.- 그리고 이러한 건축을 가능케 하는 캔틸레버 스트럭쳐는 사선으로 기울어진 하부 필로티의 역동성과 우드데크를 통해 경사지로 부터 부양된 거주환경을 완성한다. 여기 산아래로 펼쳐진 아름다운 풍경은 거실과 3개의 침실을 위한 선물이다.

this residential property by kidosaki architects studio is positioned on a sloping mountain ridge at the foot of the yatsugatake mountains, offering expansive views across the japanese landscape. in order to maximize potential sightlines, the house is extended horizontally, with two diagonal steel cylinders supporting the cantilevered volume.

upon entering the dwelling, a corridor leads towards a living room that features floor-to-ceiling glazing on three sides, immersing occupants with the natural terrain. the home’s three bedrooms offer sequential views of the undulating landscape, enabling a variety of different perspectives. a wooden deck surrounds the property, providing a sheltered external area for recreation and relaxation.
