자연과 사람을 연결하는 매개체를 꿈꾸다. 베트남 하노이, 에프소프트 씨포 헤드쿼터(1,700명 직원 수용)를 위한 온실(파빌리온) 프로젝트의 또다른 이름, '트로피칼 파빌리온'은 풍부한 주위자연환경과의 밀착된 경험을 유도하는 매개체로 사용된다. 메인 오피스 전면 공원에 위치한 입지적 특징은 주변 자연과 빌딩 간의 원활한 소통을 유발, 여과없는 투명한 입면으로 온실내 식물과의 접점 또한 유도한다. 이러한 파빌리온의 구성요소; 거대한 지붕과 이를 지지하는 가느다란 기둥들의 조합은 지역 건축의 오래된 형상으로 부터 유추된 -지역 마을 회관- 이미지 차용으로 전통, 자연 그리고 현대적인 베트남 건축을 합성, 새로운 캐릭터를 창출한다. -실상 지역기후에 대한 반영으로 거대한 루프와 베란다는 뜨거운 태양으로 부터 내부를 보호하는 건축요소로 사용된다.- 보다 가까워진 건축은 자연과 인간을 연결, 내외부 구분없는 하나의 것으로 승화된다.

with a limited budget, the goal of the ‘tropical pavilion’ by group8asia is to create a structure with a capacity of 1,700 employees working in the Fsoft C4 headquarters in hanoi, vietnam. located in the park in front of the main office, the building and its drawn profile blend into the vegetation of the landscape.
mingling with trees, it seems that the users lose the perception of its limits. the transparency of the façade makes the place an open interior space with no breaks nor visual barriers. in order to break the scale, create islets of vegetation, and ensure natural ventilation, patios are integrated into the organization.
the result is a dialogue between tradition, nature, and contemporary vietnam. the idea of the pavilion was influenced by old forms of the country’s architecture – such as the town hall – and has additional specific characteristics to adapt to the lush climate. the green roof and veranda are meant to protect those within the space from the sun. between the green color of the supporting columns, the internal plants, and views of the landscape all around, help the building stand as a forest from the outside and a cocoon of organic life from the inside.
