건축스튜디오, superfuturegroup가 설계한 전원주택의 매력적인 어휘는 외부로 열린 평면구성과 유연하게 활용이 가능한 내부공간 구성에 있다.

중심부에 위치한 거실을 기점으로 공간벽은 공용과 사적영역을 구분하는 구분자 역활과 효율적인 동선역활을 동시에 수행한다. 특히, 전면부에 위치한 거대한 테라스 공간은 외부영역을 내부로 유입시키는 웰컴역활과 내부의 조망권을 제공한다. 주방과 식당이 위치한 영역과 벽난로 및 쇼파, 좌석이 위치한 거실 그리고 수납장 및 창고가 위치한 영역, 총 3개의 영역으로 구성된다.

architectural office superfuturegroup designed villa marie, a bungalow-style single family home located in kremsmünster, austria. situated on a south-oriented slope, the layout of the villa is organized around a central living space and the west-facing veranda terrace that connects the living room and garden. all rooms are placed on the same level surrounding the open living area, which is defined by three functional volumes.

superfuturegroup uses the functional walls not only to separate the rooms from the central living space, but also to host activity areas. cutouts in the surfaces provide views through the spaces, connecting them to each other and the surroundings. the three volumes also incorporate other programs in the house including the kitchen area in one volume, the fireplace and seating area in another, and cabinets and storage space in the third. these volumes can be modified as to extend the central living area into two additional rooms. 

the generous veranda connects the main living room with the garden and provides a covered, outdoor social area.a big void floods plenty of natural light into the living rooms and separates the veranda into two covered areas. a huge sliding door opens the main living space to the veranda linking the interiors to the exteriors. 

 

the wooden bungalow touches the ground on the north and opens up an entrance and service level in the basement. the wooden construction is fully prefabricated and assembled on site, making it a more sustainable and efficient construction process. wood, as the primary material of floor and ceiling, defines the atmosphere in the house and is contrasted by fibre cement boards for the functional cubes.
