스튜디오 OBBA에서 진행한 강남의 주택은 어린 시절의 추억이 가득한 자신의 집이 지닌 의미를 보존하면서도 이 곳을 가족을 위한 새로운 주택으로 바꿨으면 하는 의뢰인의 의도를 훌륭하게 반영하였다. 평생 살았던 집을 그냥 버리는 것이 아닌, 또한 소중한 기억이 가득한 집을 지키고 싶어했던 의뢰인의 어머니의 의견을 반영한 것이다. OBBA는 1-2층은 창문을 한쪽 코너에 내어 채광을 충분히 받으면서도 환기가 가능한 거실 및 서재로 구성하였다. 1층은 정원으로의 접근이 용이한 이점으로 인해 어머니를 위한 침실과 부엌, 식당 등을 구성하였고 2층은 아들의 가족만을 위한 개인 공간을 꾸몄다.
