테라스 하우스 웨스트힐 중턱에 자리잡은 전망 좋은 테라스 하우스에요. 넓은 입구를 따라 집안으로 들어가면 주방, 식당,거실이 심플하게 열려 있는 오픈 플래닝 형태로 계획되었어요. 재료는 텍사스 지방의 지역색에 맞도록 라임스톤과 스토코를 적절히 배열하여 사이트와 조화롭도록 계획하였네요. 심플한 오픈플래닝 구조는 뒷편 데크로 시원하게 열려 산 전체를 조망 할 수 있는 훌륭한 뷰를 만들어 내요. 건축주가 각 실을 일렬로 정렬하여 리니어한 형태로 요구 하지 않았더라도 건축을 하는 사람이라면 누구라도 보다 많은 면이 조망 할 수 있도록 계획하여 이 뷰를 다 공유 할 수 있도록 만들었지 않을까 싶어요. 사이트를 해석하고 이에 맞는 평면,단면,입면 만드는 일은 가슴 뛰는 일이에요.
