우리는 이 프로젝트를 진행하기 전, 우선 역사를 통해 이 건물이 가진 여러 겹 켜켜이 쌓인 기념비적 가치를 이해해야했다. Apesteguia 하우스는 원래 단층짜리 목장이었고, 놀이터와 같은 목적으로 2층이 나중에 더해졌고 또 시간이 지나 2가구 거주를 위해 변경되었다가 1986년 건축가 Juvenal Baracco 가 8개의 듀플렉스 아파트로 이 집을 바꾸었다. 시간이 지나 반쯤은 버려졌던 이곳을 오피스로 변경하는 프로젝트를 진행하면서 가장 어려웠던 점은 공간을 단일 유닛으로 재조직화하는 것이 필요했다. 결과적으로 이 곳을 조성하고 있는 빈 공간으로써 Juvenal Baracco가 창조한 수직층을 그대로 사용하면서 메탈 구조 층계를 통해 1층과 2층을 연결하였다.
